Job Context:

We are looking for sincere, energetic, enthusiastic, mentally and physically fit fresh graduates/diplomas for Fiber Optic Network (FON) Operations in Technical Department on yearly contract or in permanent position (depending on skill and experience). This position involves around 90% field work and about 10% office work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities including but not limited to the followings:
• Perform Optical Fiber Joining, Quality Testing and Troubleshooting efficiently as and when required all over the city and wherever in the country as required.
• Find out and locate fiber faults, causes and rectify them.
• Manage teams of technicians to bring up new Fiber networks and maintain existing Fiber networks.
• Maintain documentation of Fiber network diagram, task details, equipment/ accessory details etc.
• Committed to achieve company's goal in ensuring minimum downtime and recovery time.
• Be prepared to work under pressure and at unscheduled times (at night or on holidays) to restore critical link failures upon calls from Network Operation Center.

Employment Status: Contractual, Full-time

Educational Requirements:

• Diploma/Graduate in any (Engineering/ Science or other Technical Subject preferred) with Certification in Computer Networking from any Govt. or Govt. Authorized Institute and Computer Operating Skills, Concepts of Networking or Telecommunication etc.
• Course must be fully complete. Ongoing or incomplete Diploma/ Degree will not be accepted. Candidate must not have any plan for higher education in next two years.

Experience Requirements:

• At most 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
• Field Supervisor, Field Work, optical fiber, Team management, Teamwork skills
• Freshers are also encouraged to apply

Additional Requirements:

• Age 21 to 26 years
• Only males are allowed to apply.
• Candidate must have a residence in Chittagong city.
• Candidate must be physically and mentally fit for working for continuous hours outdoors and often under pressure.
• Good knowledge on Computer Operation, Internet, Operating Systems (Windows) & Application Software (Email clients, Browsers, MS Office etc.) installation, operation, maintenance, removal etc.
• Good Analytical Skill will be considered a major plus point.
• 'Attention to Detail' will be considered a major plus point.
• Ability to work individually as well as a team member with good communication skills, leadership skills, quick-learning abilities, interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
• Experience or knowledge of Fiber Networking concepts, layout design, Fiber joining and troubleshooting tools operation etc. would be considered plus points.
• Candidates not meeting the specified age limit will NOT be called for interview.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle/scooter with a valid Driving License will be considered a plus point.

Workplace: Work at office/outdoors

Salary: Negotiable based on knowledge, skills and experience.
